iPhone Ultra specs: what Apple confirmed for the iPhone Duo
The phone people called the iPhone Ultra has a 7.6-inch inner display, a 5.4-inch cover display, IP68, Touch ID in the side button and two 48MP rear cameras, and it folds to 117.8 × 84.1 × 11.3 mm.

What is the iPhone Fold called?
The iPhone Fold is called the iPhone Duo. Apple confirmed the name on 9 September 2026; "iPhone Fold" and "iPhone Ultra" were the names used in reports and searches before the launch.
For months, search demand ran heavily toward "iPhone Fold", with "iPhone Ultra" second. Apple chose neither. So the iPhone Fold does exist and is confirmed, but you won't find it on Apple's site under that name.
Why the name matters when buying an iPhone Ultra case
If you are shopping for accessories, search for iPhone Duo, and treat any listing still using the old names as a sign it was made before anyone knew what this device was.
That is not a small tell. A case tooled from "iPhone Fold" leaks was cut to dimensions that turned out to be wrong.
There is a second tell, and it is easier to spot. Look at the inner screen in any product photo. The real iPhone Duo has no camera cutout on the inner display — the selfie camera sits under the panel. Almost every pre-announcement render drew a punch-hole in the corner. If a listing is illustrated with one of those, it was made by someone who had never seen the device.

Since this page is about spotting listings made by people who have not seen the phone, here is where we stand: our iPhone Duo moulds were cut to Apple's published dimensions, like every other Duo case on sale today. Nobody has measured a retail unit, because nobody has one until 23 October.
What is different is what happens after that date. We are buying a Duo and putting calipers on it, and pre-orders are not dispatched until the fit is confirmed against that unit. If the tooling is out, we recut it rather than ship you a case that does not fit.
